As you can see on the pictures I did a little swatch so you can see a little of the color! Hopefully this was a good post as I'm doing it from my phone!..:/

Why change something that doesn't need Change!

Well hello there my Beautiful people! Today I come to you with a quick post! I recently placed an order on the Eyeslipsface.com as you all know as Elf! I'm pretty sure most of you are familiar with Elf, it's an amazing brand! Well like all brands it has it's good and it's bad! But what brand doesn't right!? I love how affordable the brand is! Well like I said I places an order and I got another one of my favorite brushes! The powder brush! And I have to say I was very disappointed! Because they have change it! :( tell me why does a company do that! When things are Great let them be!..
As you can see there's a bit of difference on the handles size!.. Which I really don't care! But here is where I'm like what the heck!!! Me no like!..:/
as you can see on your left its my original Elf powder brush and on the right is the new Elf powder brush I just purchased! I hope the pictures are clear and you can see the difference between the both on the density portion!
Let me know what you guys think!.. I would live to hear your thoughts! :)

Hervana Blush Swatches and Comparisons to Sugarbomb..

Hello There!!!.. I guess Blogging has now come part of my Everyday routine!. Woohoo!!.. I hope I can keep up with it!.. *fingers crossed* :)
So as we all know Benefit came up with a new Blush called Hervana!.. When I first saw it I was shocked cause it looked Matt.. I own Bella Bamba Which I Love!.. and I also have Sugarbomb which is another one of my favorites from them!.. SO I though I would show you Herbana up close and Compare it to Sugarbomb since they both have the same concept!.

On Sephora's website its described as a shell, peach rose berry Color!.. I love  how it looks in the pan, it reminds me of a Pinwheel..lol..  I even think this Blush would be Great to do a soft Baby pink eye look.. ;)

Now prepare yourself for  little rant!.. So I was looking at the packaging and I notice that Hervana has way more less product than Sugarbomb!.. :O wayy less!!.. Hervana has .28oz and Sugarbomb has .42oz that's almost half!!.. and why I asked myself the price is still the same!.. shame shame!!!.. As you can see there's a bit of a difference on the height on the boxes!.. And you can sure feel the weight difference!.. Not cool Bebefit! Not cool!!.. Ok now back to the product itself!..lol..

As you can see the color scheme is way different on the Herbana than the Sugarbomb.. Herbana leans more on the Pink/Berry side, where Sugarbomb is more of a Peach/Coral pinkie side and Herbana is LESS Glittery than Sugarbomb which I like very much!!.. Also Herbana has a flowery smell to it.. I smell it when I'm dipping my Brush into the product but after I have it on I cant smell anything.. which its good cause I'm not into flowery smells.. I'm more into sweet/musky smells..:)

Without Flash: L-R Hervana, Sugarbomb

As you can see Herbana does lean to the Pink side and on me it looks like it has a hint of a Lilac color.. You tell me!.. :) Where as Sugarbomb is completely on the Orange/Coral color.. I like how Hervana looks more Matt than Satin.. where as Sugarbomb is completly Frosty..

FINAL THOUGH:
I love both colors in a different way, I just don't get why did they have to put less product in the Pan but still manage to charge the same!.. that its the only thing that I really don't like!..

Thank you for Reading and God Bless.. Lili

MAYBELLINE DREAM BOUNCY BLUSH.. Review and Swatches..

Well Helllo there Again!!.. I guess I'm becoming a "Good" Blogger! ;) and posting things when I'm suppose to!..lol.. So I saw one of Emily Noel's video as Most of you know shes a BIG Youtube Guru and she has tons of reviews!.. And Most of them are about affordable things!.. and I have to say that Drugstore make has steeped up they're game and have come out with SOOO many good things in the past few Months!.. I just hope they keep up that way!.. :D

So I picked up 4 of them and I decided to get a range of colors.. They feel sooo weird when you first touch them.. It even feels like your finger is going to go all the way down to the pan.. the consistency of them is sooo strange and like NOTHING I have never felt!.. The name BOUNCY BLUSH fits it sooo well!.. They do feel Bouncy!.. :)
#10 Pink Frosting

Like the name says it.. It's a Pinkie Blush, But I don't see the Frost part!.. On me it looks like it has a Blue undertone.. and its Not frosty at all more like Dewy!..

#50 Plum Wine

The name says it all!.. This a Plum Wine color and I'm a Sucker for anything in the Plum Family!.. Since my complexion its more tan I like how the purple, wine colors look on me.. and this color is No exception!.. Especially when I add on top Flush by Tarte.. its just Love!.. :)

#60 Coffee Cake

Now this one the Name PULLED me!..lol.. I'm a Coffee LOVER 100%.. OK enough about coffee!.. the color is stunning on the pan, But on me it comes out very sheer!.. :/ I think it would be great as a Highlight!.. but will see.. :)

#70 Hot Tamale

This was the guilty one of why I decided to take a look at them!.. This one was the one that Emily Noel reviewed.. I love the color its like a Coral pink Blush!.. It's Beautiful.. I wore this one the other day and I have to say that it did last on me.. and then I wore it again and I added Nars Exhibit A over it, and it looks sooo Pretty!.. It leans more to the Coral side when I added the Exhibit A.. :)

Without Flash: L-R #10,50,60,70

On the swatches I did two layers. And I personally think that they are Stunning!.. I really like the range of colors that I picked!.

FINAL THOUGH:
Ok so I've heard from other people, that it doesn't last in their cheek's that by the couple of hours there's nothing there!.. :/ Well I have to say that on me they DON'T last all day but they do last. Especially when I layer a color on top.. Now I'm not oily on my cheek's so that might help, but I do have an oily T zone.. If I would to recommend you one I would have to go with #50 Plum Wine.. Thank you for reading and if you do pick one or two up, let me know what you think.. :D
Thank you and God Bless.. Lili

REVLON ColorStay 16 Hour Eye Shadow.. Swatches and First Impression!..

Its meee again!!!..:D  So I found out that Revlon had come up with  New eye shadow Quads and that they claim to last 16 Hours, well I don't know about that cause I have not used them yet!.. but I though I would go ahead and swatch them and give me my thoughts on it (like a first impression kind of thing! Hence the title right!..lol) I know Amaixe has been doing blog posts on them.. and I believe shes review them individually.. Well I picked these up in my local Walgreen's, when I saw them I insanely stooped because the colors are right up my ally! Natural, everyday wear.. I picked up 5 of them and I think that there's 16 different quads!.. At least that's what I saw on Revlon's Website..*wowwzaa right!*

500 Addictive

500 Addictive

This was one of the Pallets that caught my eye first!.. the colors are Great for a person who is always on a hurry. and as you can see in the back they give you like a guide that you can use, but who really goes by that?..

On the Top row Ive put UDPP as a primer and the Bottom once are just on my skin. My first impression on this quad is Wowzaa!. The Colors are GREAT! Very pigmented and Smooth!.. :)

515 Adventurous

515 Adventurous

This one is a range of Light Vanilla color and it also has what it seems to be a Olive color which by the way its Great very pigmented!. and the bottom two are in the Bronze/chocolate family and the last one is a Matt chocolate color..

I also used the UDPP on the Top of the shadows and in the bottom no primer what so ever!.. and as you can see these colors are very Good!!..:)

520 Brazen
520 Brazen
This Pallet has a range of Bronze colors, The very first color is like a yellow gold color, and that color its awful extremely powdery when I swatched it and almost has no color pay off.. The other 3 colors are Not great either they don't have that much pay off and they don't feel that smooth.. I think this would be the pallet that I dislike the most..:/

Without flash

With Flash

With this Pallet I had to layer and layer to get what you see in the pictures..:( Its the sheerest from all of the ones I have.. the colors look amazing but you will need a base of some sort so the colors can be visible.. like the NYX jumbo in milk of something in that realm..

545 Attitude

545 Attitude

This Pallet had 4 beautiful shades and the Bottom ones a Very Pigmented when I swatched them.. the top ones I would have to say Not that much especially the taupe looking one.. the Pinkie one is a Nice color to use as a Highlight its not Matt, its like a velvety feel and soo smooth..

As you can see these Color are Stunning!.. and Very pigmented as well.. Like the rest of the Swatches the top ones have UDPP underneath and the Bottom have no primer what so ever and they look Great!..

555 Moonlit

555 Moonlit

Now this is the last Pallet I got.. and I have to say that the Top Shadows are a complete Dissapoinmet when you swatch them they come out to chalky and they feel rough on the pan.. Now the light Brown is Not that opaque but the Dark chocolaty one has good pay off.. But I wouldn't buy the pallet just for that color!..:/

The First 3 colors on this Pallet I had to Layer them about 4 times the last one was like most of the other just twice.. and as you can see *Or at least I hope you can*;) the very first one looks very chacky even on the picture!..:(

FINAL THOUGH:
Well out of all the 5 pallets I have to say that I got 2 1/2 pallets!.. some of the colors Look GREAT on the pan but when you go and swatch them complete mess!!.. Out of the 5 I have the one that I LOVE the most has to be The Addictive Pallet it has GREAT pigmentation and the colors are Very SMOOTH!!.. Well I hope you have enjoy my mini first impression Rant!.. Let me know if you pick any of them up and how you feel about them..
Thank again and God Bless.. Lili

L'OREAL 24HR infallible Review and Swatches..

When I first heard of these Products coming out I was very intrigued and saw them in a couple of videos, before they even came to the good ol USA.. and then when I saw one of the BEST blogs ever about anything and everything Drugstore nouveaucheap.blogspot.com did a post I fell in love!!.. They looked even better than I have imagine.. and then roaming thru my Ulta I found a Big display of them *Not a good idea to go to Ulta*hehehe.. I picked two of them up and I fell in LOVE the consistency of these shadows is like something I have Never seen or felt.. :O they are smooth and velvety and then they also have Matt shades*has your mouth drooped* cause mine did..lol.. And Monday I was in my Local Walgreen's picking up a couple of necessities. And I saw a small *and may i say hidden display Not Cool Walgreen's!* ans they had all of the shades and they had buy one get one 50% off *woohoo Score!!.. so I picked up the rest except the Black one because I really don't use black that much!..

I picked up 9 of the 10 shades..
From left to right 1st top row:

  • 222 Infinite Sky: Its completely what the name says its a Metallic Sky blue Gorgeous color I don't have anything like this in my collection.. :)
  • 333 Golden Sage: Its an Olive green color with like a metallic look it it.. it reminds me a lot of Humid from MAC.
  • 555 Perpetual Purple: Its a Beautiful Plum color it seems like this one also has that hint of metallic look to it. and it goes on soo smooth..
From let to right 2nd row:
  • 891 Continuous Cocoa: I LOVE LOVE this color. Its a Deep Brown and its not Matt but its doesn't have that metallic look to it like the others.. its more of a Satin look i would have to say.. its great for a crease color.
  • 888 Iced Latte: Its an AMAZING Metallic pinkie gold color if I would say which color is close to looking like this one it would have to be AllthatGlitters from MAC but this one is about to shades darker and Metallic all the way.. Great Great color for and everyday look..
  • 889 Midnight Blue: its a deep blue with glitter but not junkie glitter its stunning for a deep blue smokey eye, it has like a sheen to it its very nice..
From left to right 3rd row:
  • 899 Endless Pearl: Its a Matt pearl color if I would have to say to which color it looks like I would go with Blanc Type from MAC but this one is much MORE softer! and it blends BEAUTIFULLY!.. this is another color that I LOVE and have used every time I do my Makeup..:D
  • 997 Eternal Sunshine: Its an AMAZING metallic Gold color easy to use on those lazy makeup days just all over the lid and blend it into the crease and you are done.. A GREAT everyday color..:D
  • 998 Sultry Smoke: This is a Matt Gray with hints of blue undertones. its a Beautiful color and soo smooth when you apply it on your lid!..

These colors are Just stunning!!..
When you open the Lid you will see these little kinda like stoppers looking like things*wow that was long* and on it it tell you (DO NOT DISCARD) just like that. I think that they are meant to keep the product from getting dry.. but I have no idea.. :D

My Best 2011!!..

So I though I would do my Best of 2011 Products.. Since I have never done one before.. Hopefully this wont be the last one I do!.. and it's going to be soo much fun seeing if anything changed when I do the one for this year!..;) The way I'll be doing the Post is ill show you the Products that stood out of the rest and the ones that I bought not once but over and over again!.. Ill be putting the product how I do when I do my makeup!.. that way I can remember everything..lol.. So with out further due here are the Best of 2011!!!.. (talk show voice)..hehe..

PRIMERS:
Since I have acne prone skin I really love the Clear Prep FX, it helps with my acne and gives me a Matt finish witch I really like. I really don't like the "Glowing" look I have a oily T zone and I tend to stay away from anything that gives me "Glow".
For my eyes Ive fallen in love with the Nars Pro-Prime I really like the Nars one but this year I reached more for the Nars since I have a Boy with Very busy little hands and lips! I notice that when he would "kiss" me he would leave with some of my eyeshadow on his lips when I would wear my UDPP, But with my Nars I didn't notice that!.. Hence why I used it too much this year!..
For and all over setting powder I reached more for my MUFE HD powder, like I said I try to stay away from Glowing skin and the HD powder does a great job on leaving my face Matt.. 2 thumps up for MUFE!..  Ive used it for the whole year and I still see it FULL so I say that I got my mine worth on this product!..woohoo!..

EYES:

I had the Naked Pallet ever since it came out and Ive LOVED it ever since.. The Storm Pallet It's a Joy the colors are sooo smooth and very everyday wear!.. As you can see now I'm a very neutral kind of girl, ill do color here and there, but most of the time its my browns taupe's and light colors.. I love M.A.C Soft Brown for my blending color and when I'm very lazy all do any shimmery color and just blend it with Soft Brown. Blanc Type is ALWAYS my brow color i hardly every do a shimmery color on my brow.. *between me and you I think Blanc Type will be the very 1st color that I will HIT pan!* :O For a Base when I want that certain color to pop I would do the NYX Milk or my Paint Pot in GroundWork.. They both go very smooth and evenly.. But with the NYX a little goes a long way, cause otherwise it WILL crease on you..

BROWS:

My brows aren't the Kim's K!.. I only wish!..lol.. So they need all the Help they can get and I have to say that Anastasia is the QUEEN on that I love the powder and the pencil they both are great and the brow  brush on the Pencil is the BEST!!.. Soft and gentle on your brows!.. Ive had the powder for almost a year and I still haven't seen a dent on it.. *Very Impressive* for setting gel and stuff I would use a clear mascara or the Gel that comes with the Anastasia Kit. But I didn't see a difference on the wear..:)

FOUNDATION:
I have to give it to MUFE and Laura Mercier they have GREAT foundations/tinted moisturizer!!.. I never use one foundation/tinted moisturizer Alone I ALWAYS mix them, with anything like MAC face and body or other foundations I have at home and I really like the finish I get and the coverage..

CONCEALER:

For any "imperfection's" on my face I like the MUFE Full Cover it very full coverage and a little goes a long way!.. But what I like the most its when I have those *unwanted problems on my face* wink wink!.. This doesn't make them pop like other concealers do especially when they are Dry!..:/ For under my circles I really really like the L'oreal  true match it has a peachy undertone and it gives me a * I slept well look* and for that pop of help I like the Powderflage by Benefit.. My friend Aholibama gave me a sample a long time a go and since then I loved it and bought the Full thing and just like the other products Ive mention this thing will last me for a LONG time!!..(NO LIE)

MASCARA:
I have to say that Mascaras was the HARDEST thing to choose!!..:/ I have tried tons of them in the part year from High end to Drugstore(I HATE saying LOW end just a little rant there)..hehe.. But I narrowed it down to 2 of them I love love the Rimmel Last Accelerator I have to say the name fits it!.. it gives me Length and well I have Medium length lashes and they really like to point South!.. and this Mascara gives me length by time length!.. and I got a sample of the Tarte lights, camera, lashes and ever since i used it I fell in Love with it!.. and the combination that these 2 mascaras gives me its AMAZING!.. I like to combine my mascaras so its never the same combination, but this combination I used the most and that's why I put it my 2011 Favs..:D Now eyelash curler I give again to Tarte!.. it fits so well in my eyes and it gives me curl I want! I also have the Shuamura* I think that's how you spell it*  But I used this one the Most!..:)

BLUSH:

When it came to Mascaras and Blushes I had SUCH a HARD time on choosing them!.. *you might Not know this but I'm a Blush FREAK!!* I love love Blushes!.. And well how I went on about it, was I choose the ones I used the most when I did my makeup and the ones I reached for the MOST!.. When I had Natural eye I went with My Matahari by Nars and when I decided to put some color on my eye I loved using my Exposed but not only when I did a pop of color I would also Mix these 2 colors together and I loved how they looked!..

EYELINER:
When it comes to eyeliner Ive had such a hard time finding any eyeliner that stays in my waterline, no matter if they are High end or from the Drugstore.. But the ones that I really like because of the consistency are the MAC ones and the Urban Decay ones(and from the Drugstore the Milani ones are AMAZING).. now for eyeliner/marker I really really love the NYX  Super Skinny Marker its just soo easy to use and its very long wearing..

LIPS:
Now when it comes to lips, I really don't use much because I dislike the fact that I have to reapply it over and over.. But the ones I use everyday is the Burt's Bees chap stick *as you can see the label is no longer there because of how much I use it!..:D and the one I use EVERY night without a doubt it my Korres Lip Butter.. And when I don't have my Burt's Bees on I have Angelica by Nars this is just a color that goes with any look.. When I put it ligthly it just gives my very nice pink! and when I pill ed it on it Such a Strong color!;) pure <3 ..

BRUSHES:
Two Brushes stood up to me and I used them EVERYDAY with my foundation, the reason why I didn't add eye brushes is because I would randomly use my Brushes.. But these two I would use all the time. The bottom one is the Sigma F80 Flat top Synthetic Kabuki this brushes its Incredible I would use it with my foundation/cream blushes and it would just leave me a flawless appearance.. *A most have in my opinion* ;)
The top one is the Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman as we all know in YouTube as one of the sisters on Pixiwoo.. This is another brush that its soo multi purpose I used it with my foundation, powder blush and I even used it with setting my under eye area.. Its such a great Brush to have in your collection.. :D

NAILS:

Nailssss!.. I love painting my nails I probably do it 2-3 times a week!..:D and the things I'm showing you and the ones that stood out the most.. The Cosmetic Art are Amazing polishes!!.. I found mine in my local Ross and they are so inexpensive *umm a way plus* and they are soo smooth and very long wearing even more than my Essie and some O that i have..*shocking right?) sadly they don't sell them everywhere!..*boohoo* But they do have a website. www.cosmeticgroup.com and the other down side its that, the bottle does not have a name.. but I looked it up and i believe its Mauve To This.. For a base or even a top coat I like the Sally Hansen Double Duty.. and for my Top coat I love love the Seche Clear.. this year I discovered the Beauty Secrets Acetone and what I like its that it doesn't leave that tight feeling to my nails and it says that it has Wheat Protein and Vitamin E *Good right?*
I hope you enjoy my rant there!..lol.. and let me know what you enjoyed, I would love to read what you have and maybe I can find new products to try out!..;)
